We invest in a internal Research and Development Department aiming to continually improve and optimize our PVD coatings and develop a new set of solutions, including PVD coating under other substrates.

Hired highly specialized Human Resources to improve and developing Functional and Decorative PVD coating solutions, and start a set of R&D projects in several areas such as: glass, ceramic, plastic, and many others.

With the help and support of Universidade de Aveiro, Universidade do Minho and the partnership with new clients of these business areas, will enable the industrialization of these new PVD solutions.

Margarida Amaral is the Responsible of R&D Department. PhD in Materials Science and Engineering in 2007 from Universidade de Aveiro, she worked for 8 years as a post-doc researcher in 2 laboratories: I3N and CICECO. She published hitherto over 40 scientific articles with about 500 quotes, having a h-index of 15.
